Washington County Animal Shelter The Washington County Animal Services provide care and protection for thousands of homeless, unwanted, abandoned and abused or neglected pets, providing services to an estimated 61,000 dogs and 80,000 cats and their owners, throughout Washington County. Housing and care for numerous animals has created a working environment filled with offensive odors as well as diseases and allergens. To improve working conditions and reduce health concerns, a ducted ionair system was installed in the administration area.
