Berlin, Germany Four ionair systems were installed into the existing HVAC system at Siemens Transportation Systems office building. The building faced indoor air quality challenges in several areas, such as open office areas, laboratories and production rooms (183,000 total square feet). Immediately after installation of the ionair systems, employees noticed a difference in the quality of air in all areas. Ionair has provided a comfortable indoor air environment for all employees. A proper combination of cleaned ionized recirculated air and outside air reduced heating and maintenance costs by more then 50%. This great savings have contributed to a rapid payback of less than 2 years on the customer's ionair investment. back to reference projects |
